Dr. Singley spoke about postpartum depression for fathers, which is a fascinating topic that rarely gets the attention it deserves. I encourage everyone to check out his informative website and to consider the fact that up to half of all men whose wives suffer from postpartum depression also have postpartum depression. Dr. Singley will be joining me on my radio show, MD for Moms in July - it will be a great show that you won't want to miss!">Dr Snyder recounts a recent conference, Contemporary Discussions in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, where she presented on the topic of risks of untreated mental illness in pregnancy and risks versus benefits of the various treatment options to address these symptoms.
