On Wednesday September 14th, 2016, at 1pm, I’ll be interviewing Lesley Neadel, Warrior Mom, postpartum depression and anxiety survivor who has used her experience to help other moms through advocacy with Postpartum Progress.
Learn more about my guest, Lesley Neadel:
Lesley Neadel is a freelance writer and entrepreneur. She writes professionally for brands and marketers, and personally about the good, bad and downright ugly parts of pregnancy and motherhood in her signature honest, witty and relatable tone. She is also the founder of PregoPals
, an online community of maternity mentors that pairs pregnant women up based on due date. This concept came to her after she suffered from postpartum depression and anxiety, a topic on which she frequently writes and speaks. She serves as the PR Chair on the Board of Directors of Postpartum Progress
, and also as the Northern NJ Warrior Mom Ambassador for the organization, which seeks to reduce the shame and stigma associated with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. She and her husband have two daughters, Rebecca (5) and Lila (2), and live in NJ.
