MD For Moms Radio, Every Wednesday 1pm (ET) on The BBM Global Network, TuneIn and iHeartRadio or as a podcast on iTunes.
This week on MD for Moms, I’ll be interviewing endocrinologist and food blogger Dr Vidhya Illuri and internist and obesity medicine specialist Dr Alexandra Sowa about eating for maximal health throughout life. Creating a diverse palate and microbiome for a child starts in utero and continue to be impactful for a child’s entire life. How can we set our kids up for health and wellness from the beginning? How can we help our children to eat well and to enjoy food while also reducing the risk of long term obesity and resultant illnesses like diabetes? What kinds of foods are best for adults who are overweight and struggling with weight loss? Is one diet better than others and what staple foods should be in our diets to enhance health? Answers to all these questions and more on this week’s MD for Moms.
