MD For Moms Radio, Every Wednesday 1pm (ET) on The BBM Global Network, TuneIn and iHeartRadio or as a podcast on iTunes.

This week on MD for Moms, I’ll be interviewing Dr. Huma Sheikh, a NYC-based adult neurologist, and Dr. Paige Kalika, a Miami-based pediatric neurologist about migraines and other forms of headaches. Migraines can be incredibly painful and may derail the day – any plans are sidelined by the need to avoid light and noise among other things. But, did you know that there are multiple types of headaches beyond migraines? We will learn about the different forms of headaches and how each presents in kids and in adults. Understanding the safest and most effective approaches to headache prevention and treatment is imperative for anyone who suffers from headaches and anyone who’s child may similarly experience this pain. The newest options for treatment will be explored as well as non-medication approaches and much more.
