MD For Moms Radio, Every Wednesday 1pm (ET) on The BBM Global Network, TuneIn and iHeartRadio or as a podcast on iTunes.

This week on MD for Moms, I’ll be interviewing NYC dermatologist Dr. Sejal Shah about ways to keep skin looking healthy, from best sun protection to peels and injections. Picking the best sunscreen for ourselves and our kids can be a struggle and many questions naturally arise: is spray ok? Is spf 50 better than 30? Does organic matter? Which brands actually work? Which ingredients are toxic if any? Is drugstore bought as good as the pricier options? Dr Shah will delve into skin safety and tips for reducing risk of skin cancer for all ages.

We will also explore the various cosmetic procedures available, such as Botox, fillers, peels, microneedling among others to discuss what actually works versus what is unnecessary. Learn what is money well spent and what isn’t really necessary and when to start treatments to reduce wrinkles.

Have a question for Dr. Sejal Shah about skin care? Wondering which products are best and what treatments really work?
