MD For Moms Radio, Every Wednesday 1pm (ET) on The BBM Global Network, TuneIn and iHeartRadio or as a podcast on iTunes.

This week on MD for Moms, I’ll be interviewing  Dr. Sangeetha Kolluri about breast cancer. Dr. Kolluri joined us on December 6th for a great show on benign breast pain – I highly recommend listening if you missed it. Unlike that show, this is a heavy topic, and one we are all impacted by either personally or indirectly through a friend or relative.

Breast cancer is a scary reality for women young and old, single and married, with and without kids. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Some women have strong family histories but others do not. Despite the general heading often used, there are actually multiple forms of breast cancer with different likely presenting signs and symptoms and many modalities of treatment. Gain a greater understanding of breast cancer from an expert on this week’s MD for Moms.
