MD For Moms Radio, Every Wednesday 1pm (ET) on The BBM Global Network, TuneIn and iHeartRadio or as a podcast on iTunes.
This week on MD for Moms, I interview reproductive endocrinologist Dr. Roohi Jeelani of Vios Fertility Institute about infertility. Dr Jeelani joined us just over a year ago and the show was so great that she’s back to delve more into the nitty gritty of infertility treatments. We review the basics of infertility treatments, such as when to consider it and the different forms. We explore common medications used like Clomid, Letrozol, Menopur and how they frequently impact women physically and emotionally.
The big elephant in the room is the question ‘is it safe to get pregnant now with covid?’ Dr Jeelani walks us through different ways her practice has adapted to maximize safety and also the known risks of COVID during pregnancy, and much more.
